At First, we’re all about spreading the message of Jesus. With many covid restrictions in place, the kid’s ministry decided to get the neighborhood involved by hosting a “Trunk or Treat.” As the kids went to socially distanced car trunks to select candy, our youth and adults interacted with parents and family members (while wearing face masks and practicing proper social distancing). We were also able to combine a food drive with this event to help international students at Northern Illinois University. This cute video was the invitation to our event.
